Hermitage Dental Practice supports FareShare Midlands this Christmas

This Christmas, Hermitage Dental Practice is proud to support FareShare Midlands, a charity working tirelessly to fight hunger and reduce food waste across our region. Through the Big Give Christmas Challenge, our donation will help FareShare provide 400 meals to families and individuals facing food insecurity this winter.

Why We Chose to Support FareShare Midlands

FareShare Midlands rescues good-quality surplus food from across the food industry and redistributes it to local charities, community groups, schools, hostels, and shelters. These organisations ensure the food reaches people experiencing hardship — including families with young children, older people living alone, and those struggling through the cost-of-living crisis.

At a time of year when many feel additional pressure, FareShare’s work ensures people don’t have to choose between heating and eating. Every redistributed meal helps bring comfort, dignity, and relief during what can be an incredibly difficult season.

Our Contribution: 400 Meals for Local Families

We are delighted that our donation will directly support the provision of 400 nutritious meals. These meals will make a meaningful difference, especially over the Christmas period when demand rises sharply and resources are stretched thin.
